WHY USE AN ODDS CHART?

When playing online poker using an odds chart will give you an advantage. All you need too know is how many outs you have. That is how many cards in the deck are there that you can draw too make your hand. For instance if you have A,K then any of the remaining three aces or three kings will make you a hand, therefor you have six outs. Once you now the number of outs look at the odds chart and find out what your odds are to hit an out. Then compaire your odds to hit your card to the amount you need to call a bet or to decide how much to bet. A basic concept in texas holdem poker is do not call or raise more than an amount equal to your odds to make your draw. Its easy don't bet big on a long shot!

The odds chart alows you to quickly know your odds without doing any math in your head. The most important thing to always to consider when playing poker is what does the other guy have and is my hand going to win. The odds chart can give you clear judgement with this.
