Poker Hand Rankings

#1 Royal Flush

A Royal Flush is a ace high Straight Flush. All Royal Flushes are equal regardless of suit.

#2 Straight Flush

A Straight Flush is five cards of the same suit in sequence. A five high is the lowest Straight Flush and an ace high is the highest.

#3 Four of a Kind

Four of a Kind is when four of your five cards are of the same rank.

#4 Full House

A Full House is Three of a Kind with a Pair together.

#5 Flush

A Flush is when all five cards are of the same suit.

#6 Straight

Five cards of any suit that are in sequence are a Straight.

#7 Three of a Kind

Three of a kind is when three of your five cards are of the same rank.

#8 Two Pair

Two cards of the same rank plus another pair of two cards of the same rank is Two Pair.

#9 Pair

A Pair is when two of your five cards have the same rank.

#10 High Card

If you can not make any hand with your cards then your hand is ranked by the value of the highest card in your hand.
